Privacy Policy

This website, redcrowninteractive.com (the "Site"), is operated by Red Crown Interactive, a software development studio based in Haifa, Israel ("we"). This policy describes what personal information the Site collects, how it is used, and the rights you have regarding it, in accordance with the Israeli Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981, and its regulations.

What we collect

  • Contact form. When you submit the contact form, we receive the details you enter: your name, email address, your company name if you enter it, the project type you select, and your message. Providing these details is not required by law; they are needed so we can respond to your inquiry.
  • Chat with Maya. The chat window on the Site is Maya, Julia Pavlov's personal assistant, an artificial intelligence (AI) assistant that answers on behalf of Red Crown Interactive. When you chat with her, we process your name and phone number, which the chat asks for before it starts, your messages, the page you opened the chat on, and any other details you choose to share, such as your email and project details. Please do not share ID numbers, payment details, health information or other sensitive data in the chat. If you use the microphone button, your browser sends the recording to its own speech recognition service (for example Google or Apple) to turn it into text; we receive only the text. If you use the read-aloud button, the text of Maya's message is sent to Google's text-to-speech service to create the audio. We keep that audio so replaying the message does not create it again, until you start a new chat and for no more than 30 days.
  • Signing a non-disclosure agreement (NDA). The NDA signing page opens only through a personal invite link we send. When you sign, we process the details you enter: name, ID number, address, email and phone, and, if you sign for a company, its name, registration number and your role, as well as the purpose of the engagement and the signature you draw. These details are needed to prepare a binding agreement; without them you cannot sign on the Site, and you can contact us to sign another way.
  • Newsletter. If you sign up for the newsletter on the articles page, we receive your email address and the consent you ticked. The sign-up takes effect only after you confirm it through the link we email you. Signing up is not required by law.
  • Technical data. Like most websites, our hosting provider and measurement tools may record standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and approximate time of visit.

How we use it

Contact details are used solely to respond to your inquiry and conduct the conversation you initiated. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for mailing lists without your consent.

NDA details are used only to prepare, sign and send the agreement. Our server creates the signed PDF, adds a secure digital signature that shows whether the document was changed afterwards, and emails it to you and to us. The server does not keep the agreement file; the copies are kept in both parties' mailboxes. With the invite we created (the name and email we entered, if any), the server keeps the signing time, the document ID, your name, company, email, the subject you entered and the agreement language, so we can see who signed which agreement, plus a hashed form of the invite link, not the link itself. These details are deleted when we remove the invite from our dashboard, or on request. Your ID number, address, phone and signature are not kept on the server; they appear only in the signed PDF. To prevent abuse we use Cloudflare Turnstile and request counters based on hashed forms of your IP address and email, deleted within two days. Your browser keeps the invite link only until signing finishes or the tab is closed.

Conversations with Maya are used to answer you, understand your project and arrange a call or meeting. The conversation is stored on our Cloudflare backend, and when it ends a summary and the full transcript are emailed to us. To prevent abuse, we count requests using a hashed form of your IP address. Chat records are deleted after 12 months unless they are needed for a resulting business relationship; request counters are deleted within two days.

If you ask Maya to book a meeting, the chat sends your name, the email you give for the invitation, your phone number and a short project summary to our scheduling service, Red Crown Calendar, which runs on Cloudflare. It saves the meeting in Julia's calendar with the calendar provider (Google or Microsoft), which sends you the invitation, and Cloudflare Turnstile checks that the request comes from a person. Maya can also move or cancel a meeting booked in the same chat. The Red Crown Calendar privacy policy describes how bookings are handled. While the chat is open, your browser keeps it in session storage so it survives moving between pages; it is cleared when you close the tab.

Newsletter addresses are used only to email you about each new article on our blog. The list is stored on our server at Cloudflare, and the emails are sent through Resend. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing deletes your address from the list; you can also ask us by email. Unconfirmed sign-ups are deleted after a week. To prevent abuse we count sign-up attempts by a hashed form of your IP address; these counters are deleted within two hours.

Third-party services

  • Anthropic - provides the AI model behind Maya and processes chat messages to generate replies (privacy policy).
  • Cloudflare - hosts the chat and NDA signing backends and stores conversation records and NDA invite details (privacy policy).
  • Web3Forms delivers contact-form submissions and chat transcripts to our email inbox and processes that data for that purpose (privacy policy).
  • PayPal processes online payments and tips under its own privacy statement; card details never reach us. SmartBee, a registered Israeli invoicing system, issues and emails the receipt, using the name, address, email, phone and payment details needed on it (SmartBee). Our payment service runs on Cloudflare, and Resend sends payment emails and signed agreements. We keep these records as Israeli bookkeeping law requires.
  • Resend - sends the newsletter confirmation email and the article emails, and processes your email address and the email content for that purpose (privacy policy).
  • GoatCounter provides privacy-friendly visitor statistics. It counts page views without cookies and without building visitor profiles, recording aggregate technical data such as page, referrer, browser, and country (privacy policy).
  • GitHub Pages hosts the Site and may log standard technical request data (privacy statement).
  • Google Ads. The Site uses the Google tag (gtag.js) for advertising measurement, including conversion tracking. Google may set cookies and collect data as described in its advertising policies. You can manage ad personalization at Google My Ad Center and opt out of certain cookies at Google Ads Settings.
  • WhatsApp. Clicking a WhatsApp link opens a conversation in WhatsApp, a service by Meta, subject to its own terms and privacy policy. We receive only what you choose to send us there.

Cookies

The Site itself does not require cookies to function. The Google tag described above may set advertising-measurement cookies. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings; the Site will continue to work.

Retention and security

Inquiry correspondence is kept as long as needed to handle the inquiry and any relationship that follows from it. Signed non-disclosure agreements are kept while their obligations apply and while they may be needed for a legal claim. We apply reasonable technical measures appropriate for a site of this kind; the Site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS).

Your rights

Under the Israeli Protection of Privacy Law you may review information we hold about you and request that it be corrected or deleted. If you are in the European Economic Area, you may also have rights of access, rectification, erasure, and objection under the GDPR. To exercise any of these, contact us at hello@redcrowninteractive.com.

Children

The Site is a business site directed at adults and is not intended for children under 18.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time; the date above reflects the latest version.

By using the Site you agree to these terms.

  • Content and ownership. All content on the Site — text, images, illustrations, 3D models, code, and design — is the property of Red Crown Interactive or used with permission, and is protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws. Do not copy, distribute, or make commercial use of Site content without written permission. Client names and third-party trademarks belong to their respective owners; a project credit does not imply endorsement.
  • Permitted use. The Site is provided for viewing and for contacting us. Do not use it in any unlawful way, attempt to disrupt it, or misrepresent your identity when contacting us.
  • Informational only. Site content describes our work and services in general terms and does not constitute a binding offer, professional advice, or a warranty of specific results. Engagements are governed by their own written agreements.
  • No warranty; limitation of liability. The Site is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damage arising from use of the Site or reliance on its content, or from temporary unavailability of the Site.
  • Third-party links. The Site links to external services (such as WhatsApp, LinkedIn, and client sites). We are not responsible for their content or practices.
  • Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and the competent courts in Haifa have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute relating to the Site.

Accessibility Statement

Red Crown Interactive believes the web should be usable by everyone, and we invest in making the Site accessible to people with disabilities, in the spirit of the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities regulations and Israeli Standard 5568, which is based on WCAG guidelines at level AA.

What is implemented on the Site

  • Semantic HTML structure with a logical heading order, and text alternatives for meaningful images.
  • Full keyboard operability with a visible focus indicator; interactive panels can be closed with the Escape key.
  • ARIA labels on interactive controls, including the 3D viewers, the language switcher, and the project cards.
  • Support for the "reduced motion" system preference: animations and moving effects are disabled for users who request it.
  • Color contrast designed for a dark theme, and text that scales with browser zoom.
  • The Site is responsive and usable on mobile, tablet, and desktop, and is tested automatically across devices and browsers.

Known limitations

The Site includes interactive 3D model viewers. These are experiential by nature and may be of limited use with a screen reader; each viewer has a text description, and no essential information is available only through a 3D viewer.

Contact for accessibility issues
